Since Brexit, EASA member states will no longer recognise a UK English Language proficiency rating. Clearly pilots born in the UK with English as their first language should be a Level 6 (the top level.). Somewhat to our dismay we have heard of some UK pilots being assessed over Zoom by someone in Europe, and being awarded a Level 5. This would mean the pilot would have to repeat this assessment every few years.
We can offer EASA ELP assessments by a UK pilot, in the UK. This can either be in-person or over Zoom. We are so committed to getting you the Level 6 award, that we will fully refund your assessment fee if we can't provide you with a Level 6 (subject to you being born in the UK and that English is your first language.)
